Chris Shern is an International business executive with over 20 years experience in the airline industry, one of the first disrupted industries. He held senior positions in a variety of functions driving international sales, developing new business, and leading organizations. He is also an experienced Board member and worked in strategic and operational roles in different business areas from tourism to executive education.
Chris is an American and grew up in the Midwest farming country of Wisconsin. He is a cultural adventurer and has lived and worked internationally for over 20 years, and believes that cultural literacy is important to succeed in a globalized and connected world. Living much of his adult life in Denmark, he calls Copenhagen his home
Chris loves to influence change, and for him working with International business growth and development is about bringing people together to build something new or improve on something existing.
After years as an “intra-preneur” in a corporate environment, in 2013 he decided to take his extensive business, and people skills in an entrepreneurial direction towards supporting European high growth companies to succeed in the US market; through management consulting, business coaching, working with SME’s, start-ups, or through board work.
